ABOUT BLAKE
Blake is a senior at Washington and Lee University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Poverty and Human Capability Studies. He aspires to work in the healthcare industry seeking to address health inequities by maximizing the efficiency of current systems and practices. With quantitative skills in Python, R, SQL, and data analytics, Blake seeks to address complex health challenges through a career in consulting.
Blake is an active leader on W&L’s campus as a Bonner Program Scholar, a member of the Campus Kitchen Leadership Team, Student Coordinator of W&L’s Volunteer Venture program, Levy Neuroscience Research Fellow, and the President of his fraternity. Outside of W&L, Blake has worked as a Health Policy Research Intern in the State Office of Rural Health at the Virginia Department of Health and currently serves as an Intern in Prevention Services with the Rockbridge Area Prevention Coalition.
After graduation, Blake will begin his professional career as a Federal Management Consultant in the Public Health Segment at Guidehouse in Washington, D.C.
